Spectator Rules and Guidelines
The rules listed below are in effect at all athletic contests
The rules listed below are in effect at all athletic contests
- The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) encourages spectators to cheer and support their respective teams in a positive manner. Spectator are asked to exhibit good sportsmanship at all times, and refrain from cheering negatively against opponents.
- Abusive language, negative gestures or taunting directed toward players, coaches, officials, cheerleaders or spectators is strictly prohibited.
- Spectators are to remain in their seats (where seating is available). No prolonged standing is allowed (in seating areas).
- Anyone under the influence of alcohol, or drugs will not be admitted.
- Game management will enforce school dress code when deemed necessary.
- Sirens, towels, signs, banners, props, whistles, portable stereos or noisemakers are not permitted at contests.
- Throwing foreign objects of any kind is prohibited.
- Only authorized persons are permitted on the infield.
- At the end of contests, spectators are not allowed on the playing surface for safety reasons
